  2. Stage I and Stage II
  3. Standard Treatment  Radiation therapy is the standard treatment, particularly for patients under the age of 40. While total lymphoid irradiation has been associated with longer disease-free survival, there is no overall survival benefit over regional or limited irradiation.

  6. Standard Treatment  The best treatment for advanced-stage disease remains controversial. Options include:
  7. ‚Ä¢ No initial treatment, with close observation for patients who have no symptoms.
  8. ‚Ä¢ Single-drug therapy, most often oral chlorambucil or Cytoxan . 
  9. ‚Ä¢ Combination chemotherapy with CVP (Cytoxan + Oncovin + prednisone), (C)MOPP (Cytoxan + Oncovin +
  10.   procarbazine + prednisone) or CHOP (Cytoxan + Adriamycin + Oncovin + prednisone).
